Research Stay at the IAP

During the last years, the IAP became more and more attractive as host institution for researchers from different countries, working in different fields of philosophy. Guest researchers have access to the IAP library and all other institutional facility. Some of the most evident attractions are the library collection, the work atmosphere, and a vivid and fruitful dialogue within a circle of independent scholars.

Applications for research stays – including an abstract of your research project (max. 3 pages) with working schedule, copies of the diplomas received (B.A., M.A., Ph.D.), letter of recommendation, and CV – can be submitted by e-mail to admin@iap.li. Further information (fees, residence permit, insurance, etc.) are provided upon request.

European mobility programmes offer support to researchers and young researchers (doctoral students) for research stays abroad in order to increase mobility, knowledge transfer, and academic co-operations within the European Research Area and on the international level.

The European Commission’s Programmes on Research and Innovation, particularly the Marie Curie Actions, provide attractive fellowships for researchers.

You can also get research fellowships through the EEA and Norway Grants. For more detailed information on the ongoing programmes on EEA and Norway Grants please contact the National Contact Points in your home country or the IAP.
